Ms. Mejia is the CHA Guidance Counselor. She is available by appointment to discuss school or personal issues both one-on-one or in small groups.
School Counseling Vision Statement:
Cambria Heights Academy for New Literacies is a college- preparatory academy that prides itself on creating opportunities and providing access for all students to engage with technology meaningfully. Our school’s Counseling Program ensures that all students are developing their social-emotional, academic and college and career readiness skills. Our students engage in a rich advisory program, internship experiences and college and career workshops. As a result, our students graduate from this high school feeling confident and empowered. Our students have the educational abilities, skills in technology and a balanced social-emotional development to provide for themselves as young adults and their communities.
